Theatre of Sound is a series for the performance art program «Fun & Fury» at Cabaret Voltaire, the birthplace of Dada, in Zurich. Theatre Of Sound explores the area between contemporary composition and performance art.

Both Swiss and international artists, who work in the field of sound art, performance, dance, and theatre, were invited to collaborate on new productions. The invited artists with their diverse practices were connected by questions around the conventional usage of their instruments or their body; and what it meant to perform in a specific situation. How should music be composed, performed, and consumed today? How does this sound, in the correlation between room, body, instrument, and audience?
